I am interested in putting together some armies in 20mm for CoC. I just bought some SHQ Dutch and I'll fill them out with the same. What are some other options that have good ranges of French, British, German, and Poles? |

For Germans, any with jackboots will work. Caesar makes a very good assortment: link link HAT makes some as well: link Pegasus makes some very good figures too: link link Pegasus French: link Caesar French: link Esci French: link Hat British support weapons: link link There are lots more but these are a good beginning. Plastic figures can be just as detailed and well sculpted as metals but for a LOT less money. |

Lancer makes some excellent 20mmi infantry and vehicles. Blitzkreig are also good, you've already found SHQ. Early War minis are also good. Plastic Soldier and Zevezda also have nice figures. |

EWM is a good overall option. Combat Miniatures thru Covert Intervention Games do early war SS. Early War Yanks available thru Sgt Majors Miniatures and Elheim. I think Britannia have some and you can get them thru Grubby Tanks. Foundry produce a few odds and ends. Zvesda, Esci, and PSC for plastics |

I have been looking into the same in anticipation of the COC Blitzkrieg 1940 Handbook (and anxiously awaiting my pre-ordered copy). I have looked at the following Battlefield/Blitz (have some nice looking German, British, and French miniatures), Kelly's Heroes (from Grubby Tanks), Early War Miniatures, and FAA -- between them I think you can get everything needed. You can see some size comparisons here: TMP link (scroll towards the bottom to see Piers Brand's post with various 20mm Germans. I plan on mixing as necessary but am looking at the moment at Battlefield/Blitz as my core manufacturer. |

Hello, I am using various manufacturers for a very similar project. I'm putting up the results on my blog, with some critiques of the models, it's in fRench, but well, google can help translate it. foxbatminisite.e-monsite.com |

For the Poles and early war German, First to Fight have a great range. |

My vote is for Zvezda plastics, there are some beautiful sculpts – see here for all their sets: link And an example British set – there are support weapons too (note there are only five figures in the set, so it's not cheap) link A larger German infantry platoon set link Al |

In metal, I really like Battlefield/Blitz link Eg. British range here link The German infantry have weird helmets, so best avoided :) |
