Might be interested in a painter who does his own work and paints both to a high standard and can paint up wargaming forces and not just museum/diorama models.

Anyone tripped over any painters who fit that description lately?

Hi there, I unfortunately do not have any pictures of any vehicles that I recently have done, but I try to put off from doing 20mm. However if you want to have a look at my website, lorddukepainting.co.uk, your more than welcome.

Thanks!

Hello Lord Duke,

You have no photos of vehicles you've done, you say you avoid 20mm and your website says you rarely paint under 28mm. Are you sure this is the job for you? I merely ask…

LordDukePS31 Aug 2018 9:00 p.m. PST

I am currently painting some vehicles 20mm for AnyScale Models at the moment and hope to get some pictures up during the week.
20mm is really not a problem it's more 15mm I personally tend to avoid.

If you want to drop me an email, lordduke@lorddukepainitng.co.uk. Maybe we can discuss more there?

Thanks.

I have been painting 20mm vehicles for many years, 20mm WWII is my favourite period. I also paint for SHQ Miniatures.
A few pictures of my work are on my website, "Graham Birkley Wargames", plus a lot more on my Facebook page of the same name. The images of WWII vehicles on the Facebook page are quite a way down the page.
Please contact me through my website if you are interested, I probably have a whole load more images of 20mm vehicles on my PC.
Cheers

Thanks everyone but I really want someone who has a focus on WW2 and not someone just willing to do it.

If I were looking for an armor painter, I would definitely contact Neil Burt of Troop of Shewe: troop-of-shewe.co.uk

I don't know him nor have I ever asked about a commission… but I am a long time admirer of his work.

Troop of Shewe is certainly top notch but he has no interest in painting the quantity of vehicles I want.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

As you can see from our galleries, our main focus in the last years has been WWII

I took a look at your site and while the allied vehicles and figures were OK, I didnt much care for the Germans.

I already found someone to do Americans and British for me. I am mainly looking for a painter who can execute a good three color camouflage scheme. However, it is quite hard to find a good painter for German camouflaged vehicles.

Forgive me if rude, but why not have a go yourself. German armour is great fun to paint. It is Russian stuff I get bored of

Au pas de Charge17 Nov 2018 10:40 a.m. PST

It's not rude.

The answer is because I havent an iota of talent for assembling or painting figures/vehicles.

It's taken care of, I found a vehicle painter of remarkable talent who is also both quick and dependable.

It would seem most figure painters are an unreliable lot but this man is money…as the rappers say.

Cool. Don't forget to post when you get them. Thanks
