Looking for businesses that either sell collections on consignment or buy entire collections. I have a move coming up and want to thin the herd a bit. I also don't have the extra time to do ebay or sell them myself.

I know of Hinds in the UK but wondering if anyone in the US does this. Mostly Games Workshop stuff (Averland Army, 40k Praetorians) and some historical (old school 15mm Napoleonics, 28mm Zulu War)

Try Noble Knight Games.

Another vote for Noble Knight.

You'll take it in the rear if you try and sell this way compared to selling piecemeal on eBay, but it will be a lot easier.

+3 for Noble Knight Games (link to their trade-in sale page). Only one I know of who might purchase your collection, en masse.

I've never sold them any of my stuff, but I've been a frequent buyer of theirs, off of e-Bay, for years. Never had an issue with them. Cheers!

Other avenues to sell entire collections:

1. Here on TMP

2. Face Book marketplace…try wargame miniatures marketplace. I have sold entire collections there, including ACW, Crusades, Seleucids, AWI, 28mm, 10mm, 15mm.

3. Sine you not far from where HMGSis held. That presents a concentrated market of buyers. A flea market table is not costly. I have successfully moved large collections there…

All three allow you the best opportunity to control price and sales terms.

BUT.

It requires your energy and time. Selling all at once to a reseller MAY be easier, but don't expect to get the price you can command selling direct.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I think I can offer some guidance based upon 15 years+ experience.

eBay used to offer a service like this.

They take all the stuff off your hands, photograph and list it, and will even ship it for you.

Of course, they charge a pretty hefty percentage to do all that.

I think it was on the order of 40% back in the day, when it first started out.

Still, better to get 60%, than the 10% – 25% individuals/companies may offer to give you for selling like this.

Having sold to noble knights, you will get 25% of the value. They need to make a profit. If I was not in need to get rid of the extra clutter, I would have tried to sell it of properly. Just wanted to share my experience.

I believe Gajo still buys figures.

There are services/shops that sell your stuff on ebay for a cut. They do all the photography and listing/shipping.
Of course, it doesn't hurt to ask here first.

GAJO no longer buys figures.

25% with no hassle is actually pretty good.
