I recently became aware of the Microworld Games 6mm Sci-Fi line of miniatures. Does anyone here game them and if so how are the quality of the minis and what material is used to cast them? What rule set are the minis used with? Thank you in advance for any feedback.

I've got a bunch of his mutants, dino riders, and other bits for 40k Epic projects. Material is white metal. For an example of metal quality, the Dread Elf Lizard Cavalry I've got has really thin spears that have flexed a bunch but not broken yet.

Sculpting is done by various people and can be a little random, but overall I think they're quite decent. Some of his fantasy stuff is a little ropey, but it's quite easy to see the quality on the website.

I'd recommend them.

As for rules he's supported Polyversal in the past, but has no rules of his own.

I also am a big fan. His sculpts are all in white metal, very detailed and very clean. I've got a bunch of minis from various lines, all have been very high quality, on par with anything else on the market, priced competitively. For 6mm sci fi I like Epic 40k and Five Core Company Commander-In Space.

Have one of his giant Cybertanks designed by Mr.Coines; Casting is extremely good and quality is great. Have not tried any of the other lines, but woudl reccomend thme based on this item.

I have Microworld's Foundationists, TEF, and dino-riders (along with some of their 6mm and 15mm fantasy lines, and just ordered some of their 3mm scifi line). All are well executed and cast; the Foundationist command vehicle (the really large one) and the large 15mm figures are done in resin, but everything else is metal.

The TEF are my favorite scifi line from them, but gluing all of those wheels on can be a bit fiddly (though the results are worth it).

I use Strike Legion Tactical or SL: Platoon Leader for scifi gaming.

I've really been eyeing their 6mm Space Rats. I think they would work beautifully as a unique Alien pest control mission for my 15mm humans:
