If wargaming is part of real life, then yes. I am much better at making decisions in wargaming now than when I started. |

No, but the hobby aspect -- planning projects, gathering material, executing the plan, dealing with unforeseen circumstances -- has helped. |

I've about had it with real life, and am sticking with miniature warfare as much as possible. |
etotheipi | 29 Aug 2018 1:10 p.m. PST |
If I assume you mean hobby wargaming as opposed to professional wargaming that is explicitly designed to improve your decision making, then, no. |
ZULUPAUL | 29 Aug 2018 1:21 p.m. PST |
No, if I used my wargame decision making I'd have killed too many patients. (I make really poor gaming decisions but my nursing ones were good). |

No, but I think my boss is tired of me trying to find holes in the rules of work. |
Narratio | 29 Aug 2018 7:53 p.m. PST |
No. With a d6 and a decent selection of decision making charts, I've been able to get through life with only a few bumps. |
Zephyr1 | 29 Aug 2018 8:55 p.m. PST |
I think there is a lot more pressure if a timer is involved… |
Cyrus the Great | 29 Aug 2018 9:35 p.m. PST |
I always make timely decisions so no, wargaming has no effect on my decision making. |

Given my mountains of unpainted lead, and now plastic, I think it probably is not the strong suit of wargaming for me. A decided "no" from this guy. |
Timmo uk | 31 Aug 2018 2:21 p.m. PST |
No. My life has just got even more full of clutter which I'm now trying to do something about. |
Sgt Slag | 31 Aug 2018 3:04 p.m. PST |
Wargaming? No. Role playing games? Yes. Cheers! |

I change my mind to often to make a decision both in games and life. |
Old Contemptibles | 01 Sep 2018 1:18 p.m. PST |
Yes. It has improved my organizational skills. Mostly from running games, also from researching and writing scenarios. I believe it helps you later in life stave off dementia and related cognitive diseases. |
