Just curious. I guess the "evolved" Tarsiers could be done chest high (10-12mm?) to a 15mm human figure. The characteristically proportion of huge eyes to head size would be a must though. Is anyone working on such a SF race? Or was it ever produced and I happened to miss it somehow? And what would the backstory of such a race be like? Are they always happy? Nocturnal? Paranoid? Always hungry?
Dan PS. I'm not looking at commissioning such a project. I'm just curious if such a range was in the works, or perhaps already out there. |

Interesting idea. I just visited those guys on Bohol in May. |

[Excerpt of Intelligence Report: Tarsiers of planet Gifsoup] [Status: classified for public viewing] [Begin] The big eyes suggest they are nocturnal. Small size and tiny legs means they are either skittish or paranoid. With the big head, I would think they move slow or risk falling over. The second image suggests at least 2 castes: The one on the left is like, "Feed me! Whaa" and the one on the right is like, "Mine, Bit@@#@#es! gnarf gnarl mmm num num" And the left one is like, "Oww, whaa!". So a dominate, warrior caste and a weak, dependent worker caste. Perhaps those are male/female, but it's difficult to tell from the available intelligence footage. Image 4 suggests that they are a lazy race, so I don't expect high tech weaponry. Image 6 shows a very watchful and vigilant scout, so we should not expect to gain the element of surprise. However, image 5 shows they seem to have a blind spot directly behind them. Cute little guys … I like most animals much more than people … But AFAIK no one's made any of those in any scale … Or anything even close ? |

My whimsical alternate race for gaming is the Quar. In 15mm they are great for weird-WWI, their own setting, or Sci-Fi. I've picked up several different types of vehicles for them, and swap them out for whatever setting I need. |

@TheWhiteDog: "whimsical alternate race for gaming" That's a perfect description for what I'm talking about! :) @Stryderg, I love those species assessments! Your descriptions reminded me a lot of the Xindi Arboreal species:

I liked those episodes of Enterprise that had those Arboreal guys ! And I have often thought about making a small 6mm Quar Force !
