DesktopHero is like Hero Forge except you don't have to pay for the stl files. Once you design a fig you can export it. There are certain asset groups that you have to pay to have access to. This is how he is raising funds for a new user interface and the like: link I like Hero Forge but they didn't have a lot of scifi assets (just a hand full of guns) and paying $10 USD for the fig files and another $8 USD or so to have them printed locally wasn't my idea of a sound buy. I am really looking forward to just bashing out my own designs with DesktopHero. I'm designing some STALKER figs and a Fringe Space trader crew as soon as things are up and rolling. |
