Dungeon Challenge Cards look like a nice GM aid for any dungeon crawl. Philip Reed is running this as a personal project, he has lots of industry experience working at Steve Jackson Games. I'm in on this! link |

US only – No International Shipping!!!!!!!! |

I believe that it is set up for free shipping in the US (that cost is factored in), and non-US pays the difference (which will be hefty, every country's shipping costs are steep these days). PDF version avoids the shipping costs and you get to figure out how you would like to print them. |

and non-US pays the difference (which will be hefty, every country's shipping costs are steep these days) @miniMo – This is wrong!. Read the kickstarter page you linked to! It clearly says "No International Shipping". His reasoning is that international shipping is a nightmare that is best avoided. |

I missed that. PDF is available anywhere though. For a 1 person operation shipping from at home, his reasoning is not misplaced. The options would be to charge the highest amount it would cost to ship with tracking anywhere outside the US; or use Backerkit to charge the actual amount for each location, and then Backerkit takes 20% or so and the shipping cost would have to be inflated to cover that. And for a 1 person operation, that's a lot of time spent filling out custom forms for each one. |

Finishing up on delivering Rewards for a KickStarter. Billed customers what we thought was the total overseas shipping cost for USPS Priority International… Then the USPS increased the rates, by $5 USD per unit! That hurt, but nothing we could do. Avoided Backerkit, as it seemed like a way for them to gouge us. Did not check into their rates. Good to know we dodged a heavy caliber bullet on that one! We, too, initially made our KickStarter US-only. Changed our minds later on, which netted us additional Backers. All in all, still glad we did, even though we're eating $5 USD off each international shipping item. Using the tools supplied within KickStarter only, you have to go with fixed fees for shipping. We preferred that, and it bit us in the backside. It's a tough call. There are things about KickStarter you will only learn after it runs its course, and closes. Not everything is clearly explained up front. Caveat emptor! Cheers! |
