Comments or corrections?

I finally hosted IHMN for the first time. There isn't much of an AAR here, just some thoughts mainly to get some reactions. My comments will sound negative, but I liked the game and am planning on buying another rule book. Everything that was bad about the game was my fault.

1. We played with 4 sides and no one had played before.
2. Since we were rushed, players did not have their figures' stats in front of them. I had to provide all info until they memorized it.
3. There was a lot of cover and people spent most of the game moving and therefore missing their shots. When they did wait and fire, it was still surprisingly hard to take out an opposing figure.
4. We played for about two and a half hours and only three figures died.

Conclusion: This would work great as a two-player game. It's also important that everyone have all the info they need in front of them.

If you are interested the four sides were: Zulu war British soldiers (in the dress uniforms as Hollywood has dictated they should be), Cowboys and Indians, The League of Science (animal-men and bald, goggle-wearing shooters with long, odd rifles plus a leader in a Victorian power armor), and The Mummy (Mummy, Mummified priests and devoted African tribesmen). The Mummy cleaned up because, without any shooters they had more troops and their tribesmen had a speed bonus and so they were able to use the abundant cover to grab the MacGuffin items and run them off the table.

Really, the game was fun. I am considering Dark Gothic as an expansion. However, I can't find very much about it – no comparison with the Osprey expansions.
