Vietnam era LGBTQ equality? LGBTQ is a term that dates to the 1990s – first recorded use according to Wikipedia was in 1996. Before that LGB – and that's a 1980s abbreviation.

And AFAIK … the US Military, CIA, etc., had more important concerns than LGBTQs during the war in Vietnam, the Cold War in Europe, etc., etc. again AFAIK …

LGB back in the 1960s had a whole different meaning, and usually resulted in a large BOOM.
