It's always nice when a movie has a positive, practical message, and there's no message more practical or positive than "don't kill your friends."

Sometimes my friends just need killing.
Life is like that.

There's the song on one of the Halo music CDs--with the shouted line "Kill Your Friends!" YouTube link

And apparently a My Chemical Romance song titled Kill All Your Friends.

Huh, so music says kill your friends but there's a movie that says don't kill your friends.

Of course you should. That way you will have the opportunity to make new ones. grin

I was told that, initially, the US gave inductees IQ tests and only the smartest were sent to pilot training.

These people destroyed a significant number of valuable government aircraft by flying into large objects, like the ground.

After additional research, it was determined that general smarts was not the primary requirement for a pilot (what's the RPG term for this?). What they really needed was a good sense of spatial relationships.

Of course, these people may have come with their own set of training challenges, like checking to see who you are shooting at before pulling the trigger.

Seems to beg the question about how to deal with "family"………..

I like how you think! It's always so awkward when friendships simply fizzle out. Why not end it with a bang, while you're still friends, right? LOL.

What's that old saying. Friends will help you hide. Best friends will help you hide the body. So don't kill you're best friends, they know how to hide a body.

I kill my friends regularly! But only when they are role playing little pilots/Tankers etc!
…sometimes they kill me too!

My son and I listened to MRC's "Kill All Your Friends" on the way home from his band practice tonight…

No one kills their friends. Once you decide to kill them, they aren't your friends anymore.

I make it a point not to have any friends. That way, I can kill anyone I want.
