I have a concern about the way the wheels are mounted. While at first glance that appears to be a clever way to ensure traction, I believe they would clog up with dirt and mud very quickly. At that point they would no longer fit under the hull, where there appears to be very little clearance. (Still a cool model though.) |

Indeed – first thing those plates on the wheels had me thinking of is a bucket wheel excavator -
They are turning the wrong way for proper mining, but they will effectively be digging to China in anything but a hard surface. Kind of cute though… |
