IT CAME! IT CAME!

Ogre Miniatures Set 2 arrived on my doorstep this week. I sprang for the big box on Kickstarter. Now I am overloaded with plastic tanky goodness.

Odd I have not received mine yet…

Mine landed on Monday! So many Ogres…..

I very nearly had all the prep work done on Minis 1 before this came. I still have a lot of infantry prep left to do on those, but I've been alternating with trimming figures for Bolt Action. All the Minis 1 are timmed, and vehicles have their base coats; excpet for the Glow in the Dark ones, I've been waiting for the Set to GitD to arrive so I can do those all at once.

I got mine today. I didn't get many because I already had a lot of the metal ones, but I did want to support Ogre.

Got mine the other day. Shipping box was bigger than I expected, but has plenty of leftover room to store other previous OGRE stuff. :-)
I think I'll design a game to use all those extra tanks in… ;-)

Got mine last week. Seemed like out of the blue…which was a pleasant surprise. Then I had forgotten about the Ogre Battle Box Stretch Reward so when I found that it was a DOUBLE SECRET SURPRISE!!!

Yeah, I supported at the Too Many Minis level, so now I have 1000+ of these to paint…

Got mine… I had (what I thought was) a cool idea.

Paint up the glow-in-the-dark units to look like something from TRON. Black out much of the surface except for leaving outlines around key components. Then play the game under blacklight.

Just wish we had them in different glow colors, though.

I'm gearing up for convention games, so the ridiculous quantities are good for me.

But the furshlugginer hot dogs & buns packaging, grrr!

The Many Minis pledge of Minis 1 yielded 7 sets.

The Many Minis pledge of Minis 2 yielded #8 of Set 1, and 5 of Set 2.

I was unwise enough to have a budget crunch during the KS and did not bump up to Too Many Minis of Set 2 to get a better total match up of (9) Set 1 and (10) Set 2.

8 sets is a goodly number for big convention games. Now to scrounge up (3) more of Set 2. I have a potential trade deal brewing now, fingers crossed.

At some point SJG will have a small number of sets available on Warehouse 23. I presume they are just waiting to make sure they cover any KS packaging errors before selling the excess.

My box showed up yesterday. WOW that is a lot of stuff…. Then they sucked me into getting the new map too.

Did you guys get shipping notices first? Haven't gotten mine yet.

I got a generic email that said they were starting to ship. Then mine showed up.

No notice here, just a plomp on the porch.

Generic Kickstarter email announcement, then *poof* it was here. (Okay, a few days later, but still way sooner than I expected.)

And mine were there when I got home yesterday! Lucky I had just finished painting the first set…

Plenty of minis if you want to make a Mobile Command Post by putting a spare CP piece on a Missile Tank chassis (remember that it's supposed to be slow… ;-)

I've discovered that the Fencer models are pretty much snap-together, no glue needed. The others, not so much…

Large box, but not plastic. This was not a lead bomb landing, so no crater.

Only 4 Mobile Howitzers per set seems kind of short. 6 would have been nice. 8 would have been very nice. It's the one model that I feel I could actually use more of; especially since we got fewer sets in Many Minis 2 than we did in Many Minis 1.
