I painted these a few years back but never based them. The standard needed adding but other then that they where just waiting to be based.

time consuming to build but they do paint up beautifully.
So feel free to drop on over to my blog and check out more pics and feel free to comment. I've also added a post about my scratchbuilt small fortress.

Thanks guys for the comments they are all appreciated.

randy51, I kind of feel ashamed that I left them sitting on a shelf for so long.

Unlucky General, thank you the fortress was a Labour of love.

Coyotepunc and Hatshepsuut, Victrix are a bit fiddly to build but they make up for it once painted.

14th NJ Vol, thank you also. It's good to have get them based.

Lord Hill, thank you it's much appreciated.

Markconz, thank you also! They turned out pretty well in the end.

So thanks for the all the feedback, it's warmly welcomed

Cheers for now Russ

Very nice work! Excellent painting of the faces, which are difficult to do.

The faces, especially around the eyes, are indeed superb and the flank companies really add a splash of colour. Love the highlights on the feathered plumes.

Just a suggestion but if you run a bit of colour along the white bits of the paper flag it will complete your super modelling. Be careful to match the colour and do not let it run. A tip I was taught some time ago.

Best wishes,

Chris

Sorry guys for the delay in replying it's the weekend so I've got a chance to catch up on things.

wrgmr1, thank you it's very much appreciated. Not painting eyes threw me a bit. I wasn't sure about it at first.

deadhead thank you also. It's a love hate relationship with Napoleonics I'm afraid. I'm certainly not in your league when it comes to painting Napoleonics. I hang my head in shame

C M DODSON normally I do try to blend in the edges of the flags, not sure why I didn't do it with these.

Apologies again for a late response
Cheers Russ
