Hello, I add several photos of my latest work in 1/700 scale. This is the HMS Victory from brand Meridian. I have put all the Nelson's signal in spite of the fact that, as I have been told, that signaling mechanism came into operation after the battle. Still, I found it very interesting and attractive to put all the signal so I talked to the customer and he was agree. I hope you like it and I hope to continue doing work on this very interesting scale. Best regards, Julian link link More photos here: link |

Absolutely brilliant work. One of the best naval miniatures I've ever seen. I love the crew all over the deck. - Ix |

Incredible, that biro must be about two feet long! |

The model is amazing and the representation of the sea is so convincing. What is your point about the signal and after the battle? My understanding was that the whole thing appeared on the mizzen mast and was then followed by the signal about Engaging the Enemy More Closely? What came into operation after the battle? I am no expert on naval matters (in 1805 anyway) but genuinely interested

Deadhead. I think that the signal was shared from the mizzen, part by part but this is a license I do to show the entire signal. By the way, thanks for the comments! |

I had a history teach in high school in Toronto, and he was rather proud that someone on his wife's side was the chap who would have been in charge of the signal flags. Always referred to it, when he had a chance. And, naturally, I had the highest mark in my high school career in his class. |

Really Julian? Really??? Can you pick any other scales you're going to discourage me from getting into because I can't match what you do? All kidding aside, that is amazing work. Please keep sharing! |

Astonishingly good. My internal yardsticks of scale and detail have been shattered !! |

Twenty people will probably start looking into historical gaming just from looking at this piece. |

Incredible work. The colors are so saturated and sharp that they seem more like something occurring in nature than like paint on a metal model. Are the crew 2mm scale figures, or -- ? |
