Your prior post had some really well-painted Heroquest soldiers—hard to tell they are the plastic monopose cheap figures that they are.

Excellent!
I do miss Warmaster…

Mike Target05 Aug 2018 10:57 a.m. PST

Thanks guys! I've just updated the post with the latest addition to the army…

Well done! Those Pendragon figures look great.

Welcome to my favorite minis game! If you can find the Battle of Five Armies rulebook, snap it up. It's the same game, Tolkien-specific on armies and magic, but the movement, command and combat rules incorporate the errata and corrections to the original Warmaster book, and makes for a more readable and clearer set of rules (alas, you likely won't find the whole BoFA set at any decent price).

Kallistra makes good figs for Warmaster, and so do Copplestone and Eureka. Magister Militum also does 10mm, but I don't have any of those to comment on either their quality or art.

Keep us posted when your Kislevites are suitably bloodied in battle!

Ah Warmaster…one of my gateway games! Love the look of the army. I will second Copplestone, they are my favorite miniatures in 10mm for fantasy.

Wow, absolutely impressive!

Does Copplestone still do the 10mm fantasy, I could not find them on his site?

Yes and Warmaster is a favorite. Here are some Empire steam tanks, one with scratchbuilt platform and a General.

Copplestone sells through North Star Miniatures. Going through their site and following the link (which still has Copplestone's original web domain), I found them easily enough: link

So, yup. And they're terrific.

The castle looks familiar to me. Was it not a Free download from some where? I think the company started with a "T" and had Helms Keep from LOTR with Cobblestone Orcs and Horse tribe infantry.

It's from Toshach Miniatures: toshachminiatures.com
I have the Kragenvale Keep (Helm's Deep) model, which is excellent and not hard to build. I haven't built the free one (Dol Anduin, iirc).
