Just finished two 15mm royalist regiments, I think they look great and I really enjoyed painting them. The basing looks good and the flags look swell in my opinion, link to my pics is below let me know what you think and enjoy. link |

Looks good to me, and your bases turned out nice too. I think what you describe as being long coats are just coats that are not restricted by belts and bandoliers of apostles. Alternatively they might be something like what the two musketeers on our left are wearing (my impression is capes and such were more common on the continent):
