An After Action Report is now on my blog involving a naval battle in my fictional WW2 campaign. 'Operation Nostalgia'. It was played out with 1/3000 models and General Quarters 3 rules which are a first for me. Highly enjoyable they were too.

Very Nice :-)

Great! And a very good paintwork in general, and particularly on wooden decks. Care to explain which colors you use to obtain this effect?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you valerio. I paint wooden decks Valejo Tan Yellow then give a very thin wash of GW Agrax Earthshade.

Many thanks. I always struggled with decks, never satisfied. I will definitely try your technique, hoping to reach the same outstanding results even if I doubt…

I know what you mean about wooden decks. Lost count of how many attempts I made before I got to the point where I was reasonably satisfied.
