Full Thrust was just voted best 'design your own unit' rules. In 2003 – TMP link – 36% of you said you played Full Thrust. Are you still playing Full Thrust? |
Toaster | 02 Aug 2018 10:33 p.m. PST |
I've switched to Colonial Battlefleet but Full Thrust is still second on the list and first if 3 or more sides are involved. Robert |

No. But Several concepts from the game have found their way into my homebrew rules. |

I rarely get to play with actual humans, but play solitare, and run convention games. |

No, but if I played space games I probably would = with modifications. |

I used to play Full Thrust many years ago but I sold off all my minis and now I play StarBlazers. |

Starmada is first on my list of space fleet games, and Full Thrust is second. I prefer Starmada because it's easier to design ships with differing types of weapon systems and differing technology levels with a reasonable balance. This is primarily because the ship-building spreadsheet makes it easy. That is a large challenge that Full Thrust has yet to achieve. |

Played a couple of games many years ago, but my preference is "Red Chicken Rising". |

Haven't played in 10+ years, but I hung onto my fleets and rules. Maybe again someday. Xin

About as frequently as any other rules. Still one of my favorite sets of rules. |

I haven't played Full Thrust lately, but I'm sure I will again. |

I used to play it, but it became too predictable – as did our tactics as we got used to the ships. |

Played fairly regularly from 2010 – 2015. Still the easiest way to get a bunch of spaceships on the table. |

Player the check out it for years. Then discovered Starmada. Never looked back! |
Parzival | 03 Aug 2018 3:23 p.m. PST |
Nope. Took a look at it, but didn't like the written orders aspect or the heavy tracking requirements, as I wanted a faster "admirals" perspective game capable of handling much larger fleets. So I created GOBS as my go to fleet game. A few years later, X-wing appeared, and became my starfighter dogfight game (ironically, also using pre-plotted movement, just not written!). |

Sorry for the late reply; fine fanboy *I* make. Played several games this spring as a friend wanted to play vanilla FT II. He also likes all weapons firing out all three fire arcs. Little TOO vanilla to me. Jon has JUST started some playtesting of possible new work, so watch this space, and Ground Zero Games, for any info he decides to release. Zipped lip so far, mind you. Lion: I've seen that done, and looks a blast! I've been thinking on taking Aeronef, which has similarities, and making even more so for my Brigade Models ships. Doug |

Haven't played it in over 10 years – but the mate I used to play it with died (and I moved 3 hours away from his local group – double that if I have to use PT). That said, have run into a local group who still play so I may hunt down some new bases for my NSL fleet. |
Mutant Q | 17 Aug 2018 11:55 a.m. PST |
I haven't been able to play in years… Maybe it's time to start planning some convention games. |
Covert Walrus | 31 Aug 2018 6:53 a.m. PST |
Yes. Currently playign more DW 2.5, and possibly the new 3.0 rules, but it's still a game that I play regularly. |
