What's the best color for painting the fuselage of a Huey helicopter? I normally use Vallejo colors. Thanks for your help! |

Olive drab, same color you paint US tanks with (or at least very similar, there were subtle differences). Damon. |

Spray paint or spray gun if you are rich. The bigger the model the harder it is to get an even application of the base paint and hide brush strokes. Joe |

Fortunately it's only a 15mm battlefront type. I hope I can do it without a spray gun? I managed to paint 1/72 ww2 tanks without brush strokes. But the future will tell us. Thanks for your advice!! Much appreciated! |

Classic Vallejo Model Color 887 Brown Violet. Highlight with Khaki. I think I used Vallejo Game Color Cold Gray for the interiors of mine. |

Not any at hand, sadly. I just followed the old BF guide except for the interior color. Reflective Green for the overhead windows, Luftwaffe WW2 Uniform for the windows. |

I airbrushed Tamiya Field Drab, then drybrushed Vallejo Brown Violet over that. Windows were simple, a bright silver with thinned blue washes.
