I'm making a homebrew game involving knights – does anyone know where i can get d6's that have a symbol such as a sword, shield, or helm, in place of the '1' ?

Chessex. See their website for custom dice. Price and service both recommended.

eBay?

Google "custom dice manufacturer". It's the only way to be sure.

You can make your own. I made mine for Samurai Saga. I'm 68 and had no idea. It wasn't that hard and extremely cheep too!

Youtube dice making. Google your images and put them on a flash drive/memory card. 50 dice from ebay is 8 bucks. Water-slide decal paper, 5 sheets on ebay or 5 bucks. Took my stuff to Office Depot and they printed the symbols to size.

These are mine, half way down the page;

It was fun. And you get EXACTLY what you want.

As skipper said it is easy to make your own. Me and many other stores sale blank dice in many colors. You can write a sharpie symbol on the die face or write on a piece of plastic coating.
