I have been tempted for weeks to get church pews and a pulpit from Noble Knight Games for the Sarissa laser cut church.
When I do break down and buy them, rest assured late night browsing and beer will have been involved.
Sadly, this is predictable.

As far as an actual game goes, they will be useless. But cool to have.

Soon I will be ordering artillery and figures from Old Glory for a Hungarian Flames of War army. It will probably be late at night. I'll try to make the order up before I start drinking. I don't want to end up adding 28mm winged Hussars or Janissaries, as cool as they are.

Shopping online is a solitary activity. And if I'm drinking alone, I'm not going shopping.

I've taken sleep meds due to PTSD for over a decade. On many an occasion I've made a purchase after taking my meds only to forget about it by the morning.

Then when 6 packages show up on the doorstep on the same day I have to explain to the wife how it wasn't my fault.

So yeah, I'd say that counts as a "yes" vote.

I used to collect beer cans, and when you went to a show or "Canvention" free beer was everywhere. I more than one occasion I purchased the same can I needed twice.

As I have informed people on many an occasion, "I have never been so drunk that I did not remember what I did. I have often been so drunk that I wish others did not remember what I did."

I tried but no because my prescription cough syrup knocked me out while sitting in my chair holding my laptop in the waning seconds of an eBay auction.

Whilst drink has caused no end of unsolved mysteries over the years, the postman bringing unexpected parcels is not one of them…

Now that I think about, although I've more than my share of drinking and shopping in my life, I don't think I've ever been drunk while shopping, by which I mean old-school in-a-store shopping (I think the kids are calling it "F2F shopping").
