So I thought I was out of the blogging game, but then I painted a whole bunch of Napoleonic's units, and it has reignited my interest, if only as repository of photo's!

anyway, this is more of a Napoleonics specific post, as in the space of three months I've doubled my traditional unit output for my Peninsular War armies for an entire year…

picture

Firstly a fairly poor photo of the Villaciosa Dragoons, for my Spanish contingent. I quickly realised the mobile phone wasn't up to the picture quality I'd like… These are Perry plastic French Dragoons, With Trent Miniatures Revolutionary French heads and a paint conversion.

Second, some Valencia Militia. With these I can now field a Spanish Division to support my Anglo-Portuguese army. These are Eagle Miniatures.

This meant the French were in dire need of reinforcement:

Some Garde Grenadiers first off, scraped together from remnant Victrix models.

Lastly for the French, the 9e. Bis. Hussars in campaign dress. Made from the Perry Chasseurs set. This gives me a Light and Heavy Brigade for my French Cavalry, and three French infantry Divisions at a pinch…

Also I have a 'War of 1812' skirmish project ongoing:

The first of three batches of Native Americans to fight for the British. We also recently got a game in the 1812 war, only a small one…

Anyway, if you'd like to support me getting back on the wagon, wander over to my blog and have a look… But so far as this collection you've just got the pick of the photo crop!

Hi Dean. Love the additions you have made to your Peninsular forces. I would be up for a small game of BP sometime.

Trent Bicorne heads on Perry Dragoons….just brilliant imagination. I love to see such conversions.

The left arm will hide the post Bardin cut of the jacket and the short tails will not matter for cavalry.

Those dragoons look so right and something unique I think. Clever……
