How the bloody hell do you figure out what arms go with what guns and figures. I have the little sheet that came with the box, but I can't see to get the arm poses correct to handle the various guns. Does anyone know of a video showing which arms/gun go with what figure? I've already messed up a couple of these things and I'm getting terribly frustrated :( Thanks |

I THINK it's the old ones? Not sure to be honest, but after some more digging it sounds like I'm not buying any more of their infantry. Anyone have suggestions to other 28mm makers where it's not required to have an engineering degree? |

For me it just took some experimenting. The first ones I did were really screwy looking. The big breakthrough was knowing the angle that the stock should meet the shoulder/arm. I wish I could explain it better than that, but I don't know how to describe it really. You might try fiddling with them and a little putty just to see how they should go before gluing. Once you have a clear picture of how the right arm should look (in relation to the body and rifle), it gets a lot easier. One thing that helped me was attaching the right arm and the rifle and letting it get semi dry but not quite (I use model cement rather than super glue). That way when I attache the left arm I can still move it just a tad if I need to. As far as alternatives in plastic, the new warlord figures are better because the rifle and right arm are one piece (thus fixed at the correct angle), or in some cases the rifle and both arms are one piece. Perry is coming out with a plastic US set, but I have not seen a date. |

Then for sure I have the older set. Oh well, I'm new, so this is a live and learn lesson. I JUST started and I might just toss them and find another maker. |

Definitely makes things much easier to use a plastic model cement, especially on arms to get a lot of working time. |

So….I just watched a video of the new Warlord Infantry. I'd like those. The arms have the weapons already attached. I just need to find a place where I can order them and get fast delivery. I have a game in a couple weeks :) |

@junkbarbarian Thank you!!!! My local store could order them but it would haven't taken a couple weeks! |

Good afternoon Captaincold69, I'm sorry to hear of the problems with the assembly of our old US infantry sprue. I will assume this is the old US infantry sprue as you have confirmed so in your previous messages. The leaflet inside provides you with indication on how to couple each arm together with a specific weapon so if you have actually followed this I'm a little confused on what more guidance you would need to assemble these models. Reading through the thread here I'm actually wondering if you have received a misprinted leaflet as this should show numbers matching arms with their weapons. Would you be able to send a photo of the leaflet you have received to info@warlordgames.com (mention my name, Harry, in the subject) so that we can take a better look? I would also be able to have a look at the problems that you are having and hopefully will be able to provide support in getting the models put together. Kind regards, Harry |

Harry Thanks, but I just ordered the new US Infantry set. They seem so much more easier to assemble. I'll make do with the older set I have. It's more my lack of patience with the individual arms and attaching them to the shoulders and getting the guns properly places than anything else. |

I did what others said and attached the right arms and guns together with model cement, let this assembly dry and then attached this to the torso and the to the left arm. |

That's a great idea. I'll do just that…attach the guns to the right arms and go from there. Thanks everyone. |

I found that the instruction leaflets and the sprue layout photos were pretty good for planning out the assembly. I never liked the old figures, rifles broke too easy and the fits weren't the best. But the leaflets were more than adequate. I'm planning on getting a box of the new figures to replace the broken ones I currently have. Of the 60 or so figures I have assembeled from the old US boxes 14 have broken rifles. |

Be sure to salvage what you can of the old rifles though. The new set does not come with enough to equip a standard rifle platoon with the weapons included. |

"Be sure to salvage what you can of the old rifles though. The new set does not come with enough to equip a standard rifle platoon with the weapons included." That's rather sucky isn't it? Perhaps Bolt Action OOBs don't relate to the real world, or perhaps Warlord want you to buy an extra sprue? |
