So this is just a little story I felt I had to share as it could only come from the mind of an innocent child.

My daughter and I were in the basement which is the war room. My wife decided to give to me an old display cabinet. The cheap wood with glass door kind. Not as nice as it sounds but hey-cool. So myself and my baby girl were moving various space marines to this cabinet. Now we have played the Deathwing PC game and she chooses to mimic the way they talk. "We are the angels of death" and such. So I ply away at ranking up the figs and I hear this conversation between the marines.

Cap: get reAdy for battle men.
SM: will the battle be dangerous?
Cap: yes it will but if we win and those that survive will be rewarded with ice cream.
SM: even brother (some name she made up)?
Cap: why would he not?
SM: the medic days he cannot go into battle as he has pink eye.
Cap: how could this happen, by the empires
SM: we farted on his pillow every night . So he should not get ice cream since he will not have a chance to get hurt.

Ok at this point I lost it and felt I needed to share.

Last week we played Infinity. We have models for really everything. We needed a scientist. No dice. But, she found this 1 inch tall dinosaur. She tore toilet paper do she could push his arms through to make a lab coat. I wish I took a pic of that.

See this is why I choose to play at home. I get this time with her and it is the best. So I hope you all enjoyed the little tale.

Classic! "Farted on his pillow every night…" I totally read that whole conversation in a video game/youtube video space marines voice… Thanks for brightening my day.:)

Thank you everyone. I felt It worth sharing.
It was in the Dawn of War voices. That is what sold it.
There is a few hour long YouTube video in cinematic style that she watches a few times a week.

Dinosaur scientist still gets me too.

She has some thousand sons. The sorcerer is named Ignacio from Nacho Libre. For no reason. That is what he has been called for a year now.

That's awesome. My daughter is coming around the same way. These little conversations between toys (and obviously wargames miniatures) can be a trip.

Thanks for sharing!

The mind of a 6-year old is far scarier than any space marine! :)
