I'm just curious if anyone has any experience or possibly comparison pictures for the scale on the Battlefield in a Box terrain for Team Yankee. Are there any that do well with 10mm miniatures? |

I've got a chunk of it, anything with a door or windows will look oversized with 10mm. In that scale you can't go wrong with N scale buildings sold to model railroad enthusiasts. |

My husband plays the game in 10mm, and he and a friend went to a local model rail road show, and they cleaned up buying N scale buildings and what have you for terrain. |

Look up Tomix/Tomytec and Kato N scale buildings. They are Japanese but the modern buildings could be from many countries. There's also Outland models N scale. Modern buildings that assemble easily and are very reasonably priced. I use their HO scale stuff and am very happy with it. |

Yeah, the Battlefront stuff is bog for some 15s. Way too big for 10s |

Kato's N scale is my favourite, but can be pricey. |

Thanks for the information – I'm aware of n scale buildings, I just run into the issue where they don't really look like modern buildings in the US and I'm most interested in these to run Red Dawn like scenarios. |

Yeah, most railroad buildings tend towards the 1940s and 1950s (since that's when you have the most interesting mix of steam and diesel locomotives). really modern trains are rather a niche market, relatively speaking. Faller and Marklin do European stuff. But Red Dawn scenarios require American prototypes. Have you looked at the walthers.com N-gauge stuff? link |

Some of those might work – I can get away with a mix of stuff, especially with using older looking freight warehouses and factories as they match up with what I see in the Eastern Washington area. I'll keep these in mind as I continue to look. |
