I'm looking for a book or even a Web page that has a detailed orbat including unit strengths for the 1st battle of Breitenfeld. Thanks. Thanks. |

This is a start, at least regimentally… You'll have to enlarge it in order to read the regimental/Commander names. link |

Use the search function on here while it is stilll working! Putting in Breitenfeld I came across an October 2009 (last post June 2015) thread on Breitenfeld OOB which contains a long post from Daniel S (the expert on this battle) with all the detail you could wish for. Or just search for Daniel S under author, and you will have more posts on this subject than you can shake a stick at! |

This – TMP link – may not be the thread mollinary refers to, but Daniel S resposts info from 2009. |

Have a look at kriegsbuch.blogspot.com and you will find orbats for all 3 armies. Regimental strength is not known for the Catholic army due to a loss of documents as Tillys archive was either destroyed to prevent capture or lost when the camp at Leipzig was looted. |

Hi AA, The message function is back in its old place, at the left hand side of the ‘Message Boards' page, and in the same place beside each individual message board. Hope this helps. |

Thank you Mollinary. It has been so long that I had forgotten where to find it. |
