Some interesting pieces there.

Things to note are that they package the "unique" pieces that make up each encounter. So now you can just buy or use core pieces and add in the unique pieces. You could usually buy those uniques anyways but its nice to have it packaged and a little cheaper.

The other item to note is shipping cost is no longer included in your total.

The last three KS releases didn't do anything for me but I might pick up some of the unique parts. Plus there is always something that has multiple generic uses like the rowboats, stalagmites, etc.

Nice to see they are updating their sets with magnets, terrain trays, and LEDs.

I love the stuff but it is getting increasingly high-end.

I owned one set, but I realized I would need another four sets to do a decent dungeon layout -- this was around 10-15 years ago. That was beyond my gaming budget. It is amazing stuff, for what it is.

For my RPG sessions, it is too much work, too constricting for my play style. I use a Chessex Battle Mat, with wet-erase pens -- cannot beat its versatility, or its speed of deployment.

For fantasy miniatures games, however, DF is the bomb, bar none. Of course, you have to have the depth in your wallet to afford it… Obviously folks are willing to pay to have it. I hope they get years of fun out of it. Cheers!

Its great stuff and if you watch the videos, you realize this is a labor of love.

I've been in every DF Kickstarter since the first, and this will be no exception. Some years it was a small order, some years it was a large order. This stuff just keeps getting better and better.

ForgePrints and other companies are offering game tiles for those on a budget. I usually see a less expensive game tile KS once or twice a year.
