Hi Everyone,

I came across this You Tube channel called Epic History which seems to be linked to Osprey. Here is the link to Alexander The Great. It has a succinct history, good maps and graphics, battles explained well ( at least for me ) and there are a lot of other wargaming related battles and campaigns to watch.

Pretty neat. What do you guys think?

It looks like it would be good for students in elementary schools!

The battle scenes look like they were taken from the Total War video game.

I teach Latin to high school students, and I can tell you that they know little of Alexander besides the basics, partly because there is so much to learn in World History and partly because they forget. Our Latin curriculum focuses a good bit on Roman Egypt and Alexandria, and it's hard to explain all the Greeks without reviewing Alexander and his conquests. This year I think I'll try using this instead or in addition to some other resources.

Thanks Guys.Glad you liked the link. I've since watched the WW1 vidios and they trot around the world, not focussing on just the European fronts.
