I am considering selling my 450 man AWI army with both British and colonials. All are Per of 2nd edition Old Glory figures well painted.

I wanted to see what everyone would suggest as far as breaking it up or selling as one lot.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would suggest selling it by regiments.
It may take longer but you can get a better price.

If you're not pressed for time maybe try and sell the whole collection first. If there's no interest after a couple weeks then break it down. Caveat here is I've never sold that many figures at once. Just individual armies with maybe 200-250 figures. Good luck with it either way!

It is what the market will bear. Pros and Cons each way. I agree with Cooldude. If you aren't strapped for cash you try as one lot. If they do not sell, then you can break it in pieces.

You may get less money per figure selling as one lot but have less aggravation and get a bigger intake in the end.

If you sell in pieces you may not sell everything. Many collectors cherry pick for the best or what they need, and you are stuck with the rest. As a result you may even get less because things don't sell.

I have seen it both ways.
