I confess I don't have the HC book in front of me but I just had a couple quick questions about your experineces with basing 15mm figures for HC.
#1) What size bases did you choose for Large, Medium, Small and Tiny bases (inches or MM please).
#2) How many bases per unit are you using? 3) How many figures per base typically. I really prefer the look of 28mm minis but I'm considering doing Raphia or Cannae at some point & these would be impossible (for me) in 28mm. Thanks. |

Been a while but iirc we used dbx based figures with 1 base for tiny, 2 bases for small, 4 for medium and 6 or 8 for large groups |

I have run Hail Caesar games where the standard units were either 2, 3 or 4 DBx stands, depending on the available figures, the size of the battle and the number of players. 2 stands:

The think with HC in 15mm is their basing is not great. I have just about finished my Raphia project and based the. According to Imputvs, although the bases are slightly larger. As long as both sides are based the same it does not make that much difference. I my opinion. Check out my blog link I played HC with these two armies last week. |

I would not deviate from the standard base width of 40mm for the DBx system. There are just so many gamers using that. |
