I was wondering if people ever used dance in scenarios or just to kill time or distract their opponents.

I have seen players do a war dance when playing natives in Pony wars.

No, and never really thought about doing that.

Funny.

We have a "Two to Tango" game where pair of players play pairs of secret agents (each player = one agent; two agents per team) trying to achieve a partially asymmetric set of goals (some are trying to do the same thing, some are trying to achieve other but antagonistic things – none know what the other teams' true objectives are).

We have a set of cards with dance moves listed on it. In order to attempt a "combo move" (two agents combining their stats to have better success on an action), the players have to draw two cards, then perform the first move then transition into the second one. Success = combo move. Failure = lose a turn. We used to have a catastrophic failure chart (with lose a turn as a low impact option), but decided to get rid of it.

Yes, judging the transition of the dance moves can be subjective. So you need players who are good sports on both ends of the deal. Really, success (or failure) is pretty obvious. Also, judging is pretty easy when one player blurts out "Sorry, I Bleeped texted up…"

Onecof my gaming groups claims they can always tell when my evil plan is unfolding perfectly because I start singing and dancing during my turn.
