Those are pretty nice, although their poses are a little stiff for ninjas. Of course, ninja aren't fighting all the time; sometimes they are just standing and observing, like most of these guys. There are 10 different miniatures, sold in 2 packs of 4 for USD10 each and 1 pack of 2 for USD5.50. For $25.50 USD you get two 5-ninja squads. That's not bad -- $2.55 USD per ninja. I would go with more of the classic ninja black outfit, which I would try to achieve with with a dark gray basecoat, a very dark blue wash, and a medium gray dry-brush. I actually have a couple of unpainted 25mm ninja from the 1980s, probably for Bushido. I should try what I just suggested on them. |

I always thought a ninja with an uzi would make a cool figure…on the 3rd ninja from the right, is the sword attached to his body? |

I modified some traditional ninja figures in to WW2 ninjas by adding some bolt action rifles left over from another sprue of figures. I ended up painting them with an olive-ish color so they fit in with other Japanese army figures. Turned out okay, but I just can't find them right now! Rob |
