NPT has arguably been quite successful. In the 1960s it was widely anticipated that dozens of countries would get the bomb, as it appeared to be the fast track to clout and status on the world stage. Too bad the stuff with the Ukraine demonstrated that the US and Russia's word is not good when it comes to territorial guarantees if someone gives up their nukes.

The US really screwed up on that one, and we should be harping on that constantly with Czar Vlad.

When did Israel and India becomes Rogue States? Pakistan may be a bit on the bubble…

I think anyone with nukes that hasn't signed the NPT gets tarred with that brush.

I mean, Israel *did* assist South Africa with their program…
