An extremely tough field of excellent commanders – no one went undefeated and no one got skunked. Big variety of element types: Mounted Archers, War Wagons, Artillery, Light Horse, Knight Wedges (amongst others). Qualified Howard Tullock for the NICT (as winner had already qualified) which he darn near won. (My son claims that as he had already won the Iron Throne on Thursday night with the Dragon Queen he was thereafter just coasting with his dread Burgundian Ordinance.)

it's great to see the DBA did so well. Dba three has almost Recovered from the transition back to where Dba 2 was.

Many thanks to all the great Game Masters and players who helped put together a complete 4 days of DBA events.

Hope to see everybody back next year.

Plan to add 100 Years War in 200 minutes to our Knights & Knaves campaigns (see we can have a fully historical event – it is Historicon – to complement our Battle for the Iron Throne).

And congratulations to Mitch Harbach for winning this year's National Invitational Championship (he got the magic Valkyrie plaque – but that's another story…)
