We are delighted to announce the imminent release of our much anticipated Ottoman Turkish range which will span the period 1450-1800. The first releases will represent the Janissary Corps in full and campaign dress.

Super stuff, I may have to ethnically cleanse some of my chaps to make room!

Bought the new book at Bovington last weekend, where my warfare Miniatures Austrians/German states made their debut. When is the eastern European likely to be published?

Cheers,

Tally Ho!

jocknroll17 Jul 2018 6:34 a.m. PST

Nick,

I am staying out of the Tuscan sun in order to finish the text of the Eastern GNW supplement to WTK. In fact, I was writing the Ottoman army guide as these pix hit the inbox! Thought it best to share with you all here!

Travellera17 Jul 2018 6:38 a.m. PST

Wow!

I am planning a Malta 1565 project. When will figures for this period be available?

jocknroll17 Jul 2018 6:50 a.m. PST

We are carefully considering the dress and equipment options for every code to capture the widest possible time span. We'll provide recommendations on the usage of each set so that gamers wishing to collect pre 1650 and post 1720 have all the options. Our dolls will allow every era of the Ottoman Army to be released so just stick with us and you'll get what you are after

Wow! They look great! And I had sworn to myself: no new periods/nations! I think I won't be able to resist…

Some great suggestions in there. We have a list (which is growing) and that is a great start. More infantry and cavalry next we think

We've been knocked out by the response to this release news – thanks for that everyone.

Here is a link to one of a series of five blog posts I did on a visit to Istanbul and featuring the Siege of Constantinople display in the Turkish Army Museum.
Plenty of inspiration here:

Great pics, jocknroll. Will you do the "monster gun", as well?

jocknroll20 Jul 2018 5:49 a.m. PST

It would be our hope to do more than one Spoercken!

A little update for those interested in the release of these models.

The masters should be cast by August 19th and so we anticipate the figures will be available in production quantities from around September 5th and can be ordered from the LoA site.

Spoercken01 Aug 2018 2:11 p.m. PST

Great news! Thanks, jocknroll!
