I received Warfares new Swedish Cavalry late last week and have just had the first unit back from the basing department, I should point out that these are a mix of the old figures and the new ones and for this unit utilise the old style horses (I already had them painted) but I do like how they have come out. See what you think, more pictures on the blog.

Hi Roger, as usual excellent work on painting and basing, I like your rendering of the livgards light blue coat…these guys look pretty aggressive as they should chasing Russians and Saxons. Good job on the guy on the left of the second base showing he's using his sword as thrusting weapons it should have. Your blog and posts on your GNW project are great source of inspiration for me!
thanks a lot.

Thanks very much guys, I was concerned about the blue initially but its come out really well. Glad you like them. More on the way. Barry two more mixed units before I am doing just the new figures.

Great work as usual! And now I have to add a Guard unit…..

Ha,ha well the good news the fought in most of the major engagements and the colour scheme is a contrast to all the other units in dark blue so go for it.
