Today was just supposed to be a quick in and out commando raid.
Neither Roger or I were able to squeeze in a game.

My main needs were AWI buildings and possibly a Flames of War Hungarian Force.
In the flea market I scored a 1:48 Napoleonic stagecoach. Looks a tad larger than 28mm, but my games are running a bit Hollywood/ish anyway.
I got a box of Plastic PzIV, once I was assured that the models therein could be fielded by Hungarians. Sadly, just one blister of Pioneer Hungarians was to be found.

In the main dealers area, chore number one was to get my head scanned to grace an AWI General in an inspiring pose. I should be getting a 3D print in a few weeks.

I got a bunch of laser cut AWI buildings from "Things from the Basement", wargame tools and Impudent Mortal. Extremely attractive prices, and it's hard to guess which look better.

The folks at Battlefront seemed puzzled by my request for Old School plastic medium bases. When they found them, they asked a flea market price. So I got more than I needed, thinking these might be a scarce item in the future. Since I seemed resigned to getting True North Hungarians and Jim was getting Old Glory Russkies, this seemed a prudent thing to do.

Finally, just so I got at least some lead, I got a pack of Eureka Marbleheaders.

Roger tells me he got the Putin riding a Bear mini from Brigade Games.

I picked up 8' of 28mm fencing for a reasonable price. I also bought 2 cigar box desert mats, 36 various palm trees, some flock and about 8' of trenches for my Mesopotamia WW1 project. I think I bought some other stuff but it's packed away for the flight home tomorrow so I'll inventory it later.

Rather light purchasing this year: 2 packs of Crooked Dice minis (Police in action, and Paranormal Exterminators--aka Not-Ghostbusters), some Victorian Age Sikh skirmishers and a Sikh command pack, ww2 Sikhs advancing a Sikh Command pack, a 25mm upright piano, stool, and player, some old West cattle drvers and desperadoes, a couple of Vanguard ACW ships books (Union Monitors and River Gunboats), and a box of 1/72 plastic XIth Century knights.

capncarp -- if it's not too much trouble, could you please share what company makes the Victorian Sikh skirmishers and command you picked up? Thanks in advance!

1/72 Scots and Irish armies for Lion Rampant, something over 1,000 6mm ACW--which means almost enough--and after that it was pretty much books and terrain.

The really great news was emptying five+ plastic milk crates worth of stuff in the flea market. I couldn't have done much better if the place had been accessible and lighted.

A bottle of glue.

Literally that was it.

Being a teacher in the summer means not a lot of spending.
