Thank you for finding this Armand. My father, who is 94, flew a Wellington with Coastal Command as a member of the RAF and later the RCAF, between late '42 and the end of the war. I showed him the model and we had a great discussion on his experiences and crewmates as he explained the cut-away to me. We found the intelligence debrief of the crew of U231 which was sunk by the Wellington on which my father was serving as navigator/2nd Officer. For an interesting read, link Cheers Kent |
