So I've almost finished painting the figures from this pack, and having arrived at the prone Bren gunner I'm wondering what the object is on his forehead? Was it supposed to be goggles, and they missed the other lens off by mistake, or did Bren gunners sometimes sport a pirate's eyepatch ahhaarr Jim lad? |

Yes I've looked at that already, the figure I have only has one round flat 'blob' on his forehead and it is larger than the normal goggle sizes the Perrys have modelled on other figures. I did wonder if it was a casting error, but there is no sign of flash or a rough surface to suggest another lens is mising, and there isn't a strap for any goggles either. With my eyesight I can't tell if the figure on their website has two goggles or just one, like mine. |
