well done.

Nice

I'm currently working on an unofficial army list for Team Yankee so that's very helpful

How have you chosen the morale stats, I was going to base mine off the French just for ease

15mm and 28mm Fanatik11 Jul 2018 8:44 a.m. PST

I used the same morale stats as the Americans and British, 3+ for company commander and 4+ for tank platoon. The Frog units have a higher morale number?

I don't see why the French or Spanish would have higher morale than Americans and British. Maybe it had to do with "game balance." Feel free to use the French stats instead.

Andy Tea12 Jul 2018 2:02 a.m. PST

the French have a worse morale 5+ instead of 4+
not sure of battlefront reasoning for that apart from national stereotypes

maybe as France weren't actually NATO members
I was thinking the same Morale for Spain as the armed forces were actually being reduced at the time and thought the troops might have a 'why should I stand here and die if I might get laid off if I survive'

but that's just random musing

I'm also working on a Greek list

I think they gave the reason on the BF TY Facebook group , tbh though its to much a PITA to search for it . huh?

I'll repost with the correct morale values by tomorrow.

@28mm Fanatik

I'm not saying your values are wrong, I was just wondering how you decided on them
some people on the TY Facebook page are suggesting I give my Spanish higher (better) morale

No biggie. I'll leave it "as is."

Just found my Janes modern tanks handbook used in vehicle ID training in the 1976-83 era. The French AMX 30 was fielded by Greece, Spain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Peru, Libya.
The armored car Ebr75 was fielded by Portugal and Morocco as well as France.
Panhard aml60 AC was fielded by over a dozen countries including Spain.

AFAIR the French favored a series of delaying actions over herding reds into killzones. They were not very interested in holding German soil.

TBH they had trouble holding French soil , for the almost 100 years before TY was set . frown

French doctrine emphasised fighting in West Germany with ready use of nukes to avoid having to fight in France.
