Hello all,
I have completed the next 15mm Frostgrave band. I share them with you for your viewing pleasure. The band is a combination of Splintered Light and Khurasan miniatures.
My personal favorite is the gnome wizard's apprentice. This model is painted in the classic lawn gnome colors.
That thing is just too cute.
The Khurasan miniatures have such intricate detail I had to use my jeweler's glasses for the first time. This was a little stressful as I wished to give a paintjob worthy of the mini.
The background:
Ely Stevenson is a gnome illusionist with an inflated ego. He wants to be a giant among the Wizards of Frostgrave. To help stroke his ego, he only hires gnomes and halflings henchmen for his band; this is so he won't have to look up to anyone. Of course, all the other Wizard bands gave him the nickname of "Shorty." His henchmen also refer to him by the nickname, but not directly in front of him. They call themselves the "Shortswords" and to everyone else in the city except the boss they are "Shorty's Shortswords"
