I understand the Perrys have introduced a new Battle in the Box set with revised Firepower rules. Before I dip my tow in, again, I wonder if anyone knows how different these revisions are from the original?

As I recall there was one fairly significant change, but can't remember what!

I think the one major change was that instead of losing a figure for each hit, in the new edition units accumulate damage until they reach nine hits (for infantry) and then the whole unit is taken off the table.

Ed, Thanks. I have that rule in the original edition actually, unless they changed it quite a while ago. They are a nice set of quick fire rules, fun to play, which give you results – good to play alongside Neil Thomas's battle scenarios in 'One Hour Wargames'
