….and Tanks… Xenos?.

"There are a lot of releases that we look forward to, but arguably Adeptus Titanicus is currently ranking up near the top of that list. Perhaps that is because we all want to see a return of Epic, or even that we have been hearing about this game for well over a year. Either way August will be a big month as we wait for the release of the game.

So the big question….. Will it ever see an expansion into other races like Orcs or Eldar? Will it see infantry and tanks?…"

Despite GW having little/no interest in re-kindling Epic, I'm still diving into this with a fury. I'll gladly use my older Epic infantry combined with newer purchases (there are many other suppliers gladly willing to take my money) and just use whichever rules set we prefer. We can still play the new Titanicus as well should we feel the desire.

More stuff will come if this sells well. Initially it's all human titans

@Moonbeast. I believe it's a different scale to the old Epic. The titans in that picture are as big as a 40k knight.

@GonerGonerGoner, yes, I think that it's closer to 10mm ( If, as people snidely observe, *that* is even a scale ).

Highly unlikely "AT8mm" will go beyond just Titans at this point … They will more likely do Eldar and/or Traitor/Chaos Titans, and/or Ork Gargants before any other non-titan models(?).

The original Epic was 6mm. But as time went on there was a little "scale creep". Regardless, the Titans in Epic were 1/500 not 1/300 i.e. 6mm. For a number of reasons.

However, the New Epic/AT8mm will be a lot more pricy than the original AFAIK. E.g. an 8mm Titan will may cost about the same as a FW 40K scale Knight, plus or minus (??).

Most hard core, old time Epic players I know[like me !] are sticking with their original "models" regardless. Now saying that the new 8mm Titans would be more in scale with the original 6mm Infantry, etc. The original 1/500 scale Titans are "tiny" next to the 8mm …

See scale pics, etc., here on Tac Cmd >

This. The new Titans will be more in scale with the 6mm infantry and vehicles and actually look like monstrous "God Machines". That's why I'm going all in. Like Legion 4 I've amassed quite a collection of the older Epic stuff, plus quite a bit of the 3rd party stuff as well. I say bring it on.
