Can oils be used in place of dark/light tone inks? If so, what's the trick? I have so many paints and crap I don't want to be buying anymore stuff. I have a ton of oils left over from a failed attempt at building 1/35 scale armor and using oils for weathering :) |

Are you using these as washes to accentuate detail? If so oils (or enamels, or acrylics) when properly thinned will work just fine. Use some practice pieces to get a feel for the different materials. |
