I was in Aberdeen books in Denver yesterday. As I walked in the front door I saw a box full of Osprey books in the free pile. I did my usual browsing (BTW best military book store ever – two stories with both new and used books). I remained distracted by the free Osprey and on my way out looked them over. I found two that I was planning to take home. Now the ashes. I opened the first book and it was heavily underlined totally ruining the book for me. Same with the second. I dropped them both back into the free box. |

And that's why they were in the Free Box in the first place… |

I hate buying used books & find someone has used highlighter in it or something like the above! I picked up a used copy of WHFB 7e (which the local store started playing) & found highlighter on many of the pages! Damon. |

Damn, I was in Denver last month, but didn't know about Aberdeen Books. I suspect a visit would have greatly improved my time there. |

Or that they had sat in a dank basement for years. |

If you plan to visit Aberdeen book store be sure to check their hours first. They have the oddest hours of operation I have ever seen and I'm thinking that they are only open four days a week. |
