Got fed up with trying to paint the blade of a lightsaber. Saw some glitter in the hobby shop and decided to give it ago.
Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm reasonably happy with the effect and it's better than my attempt at painting lightsaber blades. Still need to sort the bases out though. It's more sparkly in real-life! |

I like it. If you get the light on the table the right way they could even look like they are glowing. |

back in the day I used the Armory brand silks and satins paint to do light sabers but alas they are no longer made |

I've sometimes looked at my gun bench and thought about using fiber optic sight rods for lightsabers. |

It might work better if you mix it in with some polyeurethane gloss for the layer. |
