Thinking about purchasing some items from AliExpress. I would like to hear if there are any bad experiences or good ones.

I've never had a problem. Always as described. Shipping can be SLOW, be prepared for a month wait. I've had some things come in two weeks, some in 6. Most things say up to 30 days and that's just about right in my experience.

I've ordered alot of stuff from Ali. Mostly fairly cheap items. About one in 8 packages I've ordered have arrived broken or wrong.
However in every case I've been told to keep the item and had my money refunded.

I like Ali, and now that they have a paypal-like system for accepting payments (Alipay) you don't -and shouldn't ever- give your payment to a seller.

As Whit says, shipping is slow. Also, it pays to really dig deep into the site because often the item you want is being sold bymany different sellers at different prices.

I have bought a couple times through them, some knock off dolls for my daughter, and some railroad trees for myself.
Neither order had any trouble, but both were a month plus in arriving.

Ordered a ship model that for some reason the seller had it returned to them from the shipper. Filed a dispute with Ali and they refunded my money. Ordered the model again awhile later and it took a month but arrived in perfect shape. They do tend to bombard you with ads but they are reliable.

No problems have ordered around a dozen times as above items are sent by ChinaPost and some take a while. As has been mentioned shop around – prices for the same item from different sellers can vary.

Stay away from the pirated resin figures – it's wrong!
