Just purchased the Sarissa LCVP from Warlord and I was wondering if anyone knows of a suitable figure to use for the coxswain since although there are two machine gunners included there isn't anyone to actually steer the flippin' thing?

Would the 28mm Company B Marine crew work well enough?

I'm doing some Corsec LCVPs. I used LVT crew figures from Company B:

Unfortunately the UK importer Great Escape Games don't stock the LVT crew and I don't fancy paying over $18 USD for 2 figures, of which I may possibly only use 1, direct from the States. Does anyone know of a cheaper route/alternative perhaps?

A while back I scrtach built an LCVP and ran into same issue. Eventually modified one of the old Pulp sailors by adding steering wheel and life vest:

That's what I was thinking of doing. Might have to use one of the tank destroyer crew and make him a green stuff life jacket.

So I bought 4 tank destroyer crew for £6.00 GBP from Great Escape, and the only figure with legs which is the machine gunner is perfect. Right height, hands apart slightly which fit the tiller wheel, all I had to do was make him a life jacket from green stuff and Bob's your do dah. I just have to make some US forces sometime in the future for Operation Torch where I can find a use for 3 figures with no legs.
