How do the Conquest 12th-13th Century knights compare in size and proportions to Fireforge knights? Can you swap parts?

I mixed both together for a fantasy army I built. They are pretty compatible imo. Shields, heads and arms are all swappable. the main issues are the Fireforge lances are a lot longer than the Conquest lances so you can't really mix the two lance arms in the same unit.

Also Conquest has the saddles moulded to the riders while Fireforge has the saddles moulded on to the horses which makes swapping horses between the two sets tricky without a lot of work.

here some pictures of my two units built from both kits mixed in the same unit.

Is it really important that your lances are all the same length? It's not like they came off a production line!

I'd agree but the length is really different a few mm either way wouldn't bother me but several cms just looks off to me

Thanks, very useful information!

Why don't you shorten te Fireforge lances then ? Easily done, just cut of first the lance point, cut the lance part to shorten the lance and glue the lance point to the remaining lance ( with plastic glue used for plastic kits), easy and fast, do it all the ime.

As they are more spears than actual lances I would suggest replacing them with wire pikes cut the the length you desire.

(I am very sick and tired of plastic weapons breaking!!!)
